Insurance & Payment Information

At Khaitov Medical, we are proud to be in-network providers with most major commercial health insurance plans, including AetnaBlue Cross Blue ShieldCignaFidelis Care (NY)HealthFirst (NY-NJ) , and UnitedHealthcare.

For travel-related visits and vaccinations, please note that these services differ from routine office care. Travel vaccines are purchased directly from manufacturers at market price, and we do not receive any government grants, insurance subsidies, or complimentary vaccine supplies. As a result, we are unable to bill travel vaccines at insurance reimbursement rates, and payment for these services is required on the day of your visit.

We accept all major credit cards, as well as Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). We will provide you with an itemized letter that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement, or we may submit a claim on your behalf. However, for travel-related services, reimbursement is limited to the amount your insurance agrees to cover. We also strongly encourage patients to schedule post-travel visits, which are typically covered by insurance (copays, coinsurance, and deductibles may apply). These follow-up appointments are important for screening and identifying infections that may have been acquired abroad, such as Zika virus, tuberculosis, H. pylori, and others.
